Hey,
Well, I tried to make Tangimoana. Its not perfect, I know. But I tried. Its been awhile since I've been in Tangi, apart from the beach and the dairy.
Tangimoana is about 10 minutes from Rongotea . It is a beach community, but the beach is about 5 mins down the road, so doesn't feature on this neighbourhood. Sorry.

History lesson... Tangimoana means "crying sea". Tangi, meaning crying and moana, meaning sea. It had another name, dating back to the 18th century when Moari called it Tawhirihoe, meaning "a firm grip on the paddle".
Tangimoana used to be a busy settlement when the Europeans came to New Zealand. They would come up the beach from ships, then go cross the Rangitikei River on Scott's Ferry or towards Palmertston North.
Thats about all I know.

Thanks to Tanginan for asking me to try to make Tangimoana. See the map for street names.
Have fun.

Additional Credits:
tanginan, who requested it.
www.ourregion.co.nz for the map and name definitions.
And ofcourse, MTS2.

Thanks people!
