Here is a restaurant style buffet table complete with sneeze guard. This object has special features for use in a restaurant setting, but can also be used on home lots. The cost per plate is located in the pie menu.

This is a pay per plate buffet table if used on a business or community lot.
If used at home it will cost to fill the table like normal and your sims will not be charged for each plate.
If used at a home based business it will cost to fill the table and everyone will be charged for each plate they take. The business owner will be credited for each plate taken.
If used on an unowned community lot it will not cost to fill the table but each sim will be charged when they take a plate.
If used on an owned community lot/business to fill the table owners will be charged, but visitors will not. Any sim that takes a plate will be charged and the business owner will be credited.

One minor flaw I have found with this table is that even the business owner gets charged for taking a plate, but gets credited at the same time so it ends up not costing anything. I'm not sure how to fix this, because the way I wrote the BHAVs it should not happen.

***I normally do not allow cloning of my meshes, but I am making an exception on this one. As long as you give me credit for the concept and link back to my object here you may clone this object to change the foods available on the table if you wish and know how or you may also change the table mesh. I plan on doing that myself at some point, but don't have the time right now nor access to milkshape to do it with.***

The trim and the wood on this are recolorable.

The buffet table can be found in the buy catalog under Miscellaneous / Party and costs $300.

Polygon Counts:
Table alone: 796
Table filled with food: 3383
***The poly count with food is high due to the animations and not all the faces are used at the same time.***
