Soaring Starter (modern base-game no-CC starter)

The first time that I saw a hyperbolic paraboloid house, I was completely taken with its simplicity and elegance:

Here is my first attempt at creating a home with this style of roof.

This minimalist home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on a 2x2 lot. Fully furnished for two; the spare bedroom suite was left unfurnished for future use. The foyer has double entry doors and there are also double doors into the master suite. Lighted inside and out. Tastefully decorated in muted tones, but there's plenty of time to choose your color scheme before you move-in.

Spacious and comfortable, there's an extra area at the back of the house to set up as you wish. The master bathroom has enough room for a sink and shower-tub upgrade. The extra suite can be set up as a nursery, twin bedroom, a hobby room, or second master. There's enough room on the lot for a hot tub and small pool, or for a small garden.

For this amount of money we were unable to supply any landscaping, except for the newly planted lawn. The parkland all around is for sale, which means that you can use the LotAdjuster to expand this lot in any direction, if you require additional space.

Unfortunately, the lack of ceilings is very apparent in this house, because of the large roof overhangs. I am hoping that the new default ceilings in Apartment Life will enhance the exterior of this lot. Alternatively, you can create or download double-sided floor tiles, such as the ones available here:

To change the roof tiles, just place a copy of the current roof tile on the ground. Choose your new roof tile and <shift><click> on the tile on the ground. Presto! The roof should change to your new selection.
