When dear old grandma passed away she left me this in her will along with a small stack of cash. Choices, choices - sell the house and buy something newer or upgrade the old dear's lot??

Chose to do a small upgrade - extended the left side for a open plan kitchen/diner (it took me weeks going around all the DIY stores to find the bits and bobs to retain the "grandma" look in the kitchen, too much modern stuff these days).

On the subject of modern, built a new glass pod leading from the kitchen for a study/career room and added a small pool and new decked area out the back, you don't want to know how many skips it took to clear the back yard!!

Anyway, the rest of the lot is as grandma left it. One bedroom, one bathroom and the living room. I would have got rid of the rustbucket in the garage, but I can't get it to start.

So this is a cosy home for a single or couple as the landscaping is as grandma would have had, just with a little twist.
