With permission from my friend TheJim07 i have converted his Versailles window's (Originally found here http://www.modthesims.info/d/352251 ) From TS2 to TS3.
They look great in palaces old manors or anything that looks like "Old Money" Or "Old World" Style.
They are inspired of the windows at Versailles in Galerie des Glaces or in English hall or mirrors, though they will look great in any room not just in ballrooms.
Update 6/11/12 Hi everyone! So i guess my windows didn't work previously when placed on diagonal walls, i have updated them now, but sadly even though they can now be placed on diagonal walls there is an issue it seems that there are holes popping through the wall (this only occurs when placed diagonally) due to a issue with the sims 3 pets and the patch that came after it all walls masks where affected, thus my windows have been affected also. With this update though i have improved the windows in 3 ways:
1. The previous specular on my windows caused my mesh to be very shiny in-game this has been fixed.
2. I also forgot to make a wall shadow, as you can see here i have now added one which makes them seem just a bit more realistic
3. The 3rd top piece to the set was a bit short in width by just the slightest degree, i have now updated it to fit the bottom piece exactly.
I have attached a new file with the updated windows Entitled "Versailles Two Story Window Set Fixed" please download the new version.
End of Update
I cloned a Base-Game window to make these so nothing but The Sims 3 Base-Game is Required in-order for these to work in your game.
Happy Simming and Enjoy!
Polygon Counts:
Top Piece 1 1445 Faces
Top Piece 2 653 Faces
Bottom Piece 1017 Faces

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
Note from the Creator:
The 1st top piece is rounded at the top, the 2nd is square, they are top on the next story above the bottom piece to make it a 2 story window.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
