Added the German language (by Randir)

September 22, 2013
Added the options to Unset Real Life for sims (and pets, if you have the Pets EP).
These options allow to unset the real life and to assign again the standard age duration of the game to the selected sim (or pet); the standard age duration assigned depends on the life stage in which is the selected sim (or pet).
You can set and unset the Real Life all the times you want.
In this update I've also corrected some dialogs related to the years of the sims in the English language.
I've also found a way to get around the problem for becoming pregnant in some situations: see the section SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT under COMPATIBILITY AND CONFLICTS
Notes:
1) Don't download the file marked as OLD, download only the file marked as NEW; it includes English US, English UK and Italian language (made by me), Dutch (thanks to lientebollemeis for the translation) and German (thanks to Randir for the translation).
2) If you have already downloaded the old file of the mod, you have to download the NEW file and overwrite the two packages contained in it over the standard packages you've already downloaded.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES

The intent of this mod is to simulate the real life assigning a particular number of days left in the different life stages of sims and pets. The number of assigned days varies from a life stage to another and it starts from this premise: 1 year of life = 365 days.
The change of the days left (and in particular, the change of the age duration in the different life stages) is not automatic because you have to manually set the Real Life for every life stage reached by the sims (and by the pets, if you have the Pets EP and if you have pets in the family you are playing).
You find the "Real Life" menu by clicking on the selected sim (from the toddlers to the elders).

If a sim doesn't have set the Real Life for the life stage in which he/she is, the Real Life menu shows one of these options:
Set for me (Toddler) - if the selected sim is a toddler
Set for me (Child) - if the selected sim is a child
Set for me (Teen) - if the selected sim is a teen
Set for me (Young Adult) - if the selected sim is a young adult (only if you have the University EP)
Set for me (Adult) - if the selected sim is an adult
Set for me (Elder) - if the selected sim is an elder

For example, this image shows the option to set the Real Life to an adult sim:

After you have clicked on one of the options written above, a particular number of days left is assigned to the life stage of the selected sim. For example, this image shows what happens after you have set the Real Life for an adult sim:
Look at the number of days left in the Adult stage (for graduated sims): 13870 days left / 365 days per year = 38 years left in the Adult stage.

In these tables (click on the spoilers) is explained how I have calculated the years for sims and pets:

You can also find these infos (in detail) by clicking on the option Real Life.../Info on... and then you select a category.

On all the sims that have the Real Life set, appear these options (some can appear and some don't; read also the Notes after this table):

Here is how appears the Real Life menu if there are also babies and pets in the family you are playing:

REAL LIFE FOR THE YOUNG ADULT STAGE
The Real Life for the Young Adult stage is applicable only if you have the University EP.
The options of the Real Life in the Young Adult stage (shown after you have set the Real Life for Young Adult) are a little different than the other life stages:
1) The options Add, Subtract, Reset to and Reset Real Life are not shown in the Young Adult stage.
2) The options Unset Real Life, How old am I?, What day is today?, Set month & day, Change.../Season..., Change.../Day of week..., Options for babies..., Options for pets... and Info on... are the same as those that are in the other life stages.

The exclusive options that are only found in the Young Adult stage, are the following (click on the spoiler):

This image shows how appears the Real Life menu in the Young Adult stage:

REAL LIFE APPLIED TO NON-HUMAN SIMS
(these non-human species refer to particular Expansion Packs that obviously are not required, they are just additional)
1) Aliens age as the normal sims, so they have all the standard options of the real life.
2) Plantsims don't age as the normal sims because they skip the Baby stage, the Child stage, the Teen stage and the Young Adult stage; they start from 1 year of life in the Toddler stage and in the transition from the Toddler stage to the Adult stage, they pass directly from 3 years to 18 years; in their 3 life stages (Toddler, Adult and Elder), they have all the standard options of the real life.
3) Werewolves and Yetis age as the normal sims, so they have all the standard options of the real life.
4) Vampires, Zombies and hybrid sims with vampire or zombie blood, are immortal; they can set the Real Life and have all the standard options of the real life, but they don't age and the days left in their life stages don't reduce; if you click on the option How old am I?, a particular message is shown, depending on whether the sim is a vampire, a zombie, or a hybrid; anyway, teen vampires, teen zombies and hybrid teens can go to college.
5) Robots don't have an age; they can't set the Real Life, can't add or subtract days and can't reset the days left; but they have all the other options and if you click on the option How old am I?, a particular message is shown.

INFOS ON THE PACKAGE DP-365 Days per Year
This package is a global hack and contains the BCON that modifies the total days in the seasons.
The lengths of the seasons are:
Spring = 92 days
Summer = 92 days
Autumn = 91 days
Winter = 90 days

Total = 365 days in a year (as in our real life)

To interact correctly with the options related to the seasons (What day is today?, Set month & day, Change.../Season...), you must set the season quadrant (in the neighborhood) in one of these ways:
Season 1Season 2Season 3Season 4
SpringSummerAutumnWinter
SummerAutumnWinterSpring
AutumnWinterSpringSummer
WinterSpringSummerAutumn

New families immediately see the change of days in the seasons and they start from the first day of the Season 1.
For existing families, if you save a family lot with (for example) 3 days left in Summer, after you have installed my mod, that family however starts from the 3 days left in Summer, but the total days in the seasons are changed and you can interact normally with the options related to the seasons.

ADDITIONAL INFOS
1) If a sim drinks the Elixir of life or a pet eats in the Kibble of life, the days added/subtracted to/from their age durations compromise the Real Life, but don't worry, you can set it again and you'll see again all the options.
However, the use of the Elixir of life and the Kibble of life is useless because sims and pets have already a lot of days in their lifes.
2) If you add days to the current season or set infinite days in the current season with the Aspiration Reward - Weathernaught 57X (or with other mods), you must Reset the days added to the season with the interaction Real Life.../Reset.../Days added to season and you'll see again the options Change.../Season... and Set month & day.
Similarly to the previous case, the use of the Weathernaught 57X is useless.
3) In the Secret Lots you can't change day of week, you can't change season, you can't set month & day and you can't know exactly what day is (a particular message appears when you click on the option What day is today).
In all the other types of lots, all the interactions appear.
However, it's better that you don't change anything in the Community Lots and especially in the Vacation Lots (if you have the Bon Voyage EP).

COMPATIBILITY AND CONFLICTS
1) After some tests on the process for becoming pregnant in the Adult stage, I've discovered that:
1 - if the days left of a female sim are more than 15020 (about at 19 years old), the option "Try for baby" doesn't appear and the sim can't become pregnant;
2 - if the days left of a female sim are less than or equal to 15020 (about at 19 years old) and more than or equal to 13659 (about at 22 and some months), the option "Try for baby" appears and the sim can become pregnant;
3 - if the days left of a female sim are less than 13659 (about at 22 and some months) and more than 12290 (about at 26 and some months), the option "Try for baby" doesn't appear and the sim can't become pregnant;
4 - if the days left of a female sim are less than or equal to 12290 (about at 26 and some months), the option "Try for baby" appears and the sim can become pregnant.
Since this aspect is hard-coded (I think) in the standard codes of the game, there's nothing I can do to solve this conflict.
But there's a way to get around this problem: read the notes in SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT.

2) My mod works well with all the options of the Inseminator, but the option "Make a baby with..." works only if the selected female sim has the right days left for becoming pregnant in the Adult stage (read note 1) for clarifications and read the notes in SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT).

3) My mod is not fully compatible with InTeenimater because female teens can't become pregnant after set the Real Life.
Since the InTeenimater is based on the Maxis standard age duration of the Teen stage (the age duration and not the age days left), the amount of days added with Real Life in the age duration of the female teens impedes that they can become pregnant, also if they have less than or equal to 15 days left in the Teen stage (15 days is the Maxis standard age duration of the Teen stage).
This conflict also occurs for female Young Adults with the Real Life set (only if you have the University EP).
To get around this problem, read note 2) in SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT.
Instead, the InTeenimater works well with the Real Life set in the Adult stage, but remember always that the female sim you want get pregnant must have the right days left for becoming pregnant in the Adult stage (read note 1) for clarifications and read the notes in SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT).

SOLUTIONS TO BECOME PREGNANT
1) This solution works only for adult female sims:
1 - if an adult female sim is in the range of days left in which she can't become pregnant (see note 1) in COMPATIBILITY AND CONFLICTS), you can subtract 10 years (to be sure) from her life;
2 - then the option "Try for baby" appears and she can become pregnant;
3 - once she is pregnant, wait that she gives birth and only after giving birth, add 10 years to her life so that she returns to the days left that she had before the pregnancy.

2) This solution works for teen female, young adult female and adult female sims (obvioulsy, teens and young adults can become pregnant only if you have the InTeenimater):
1 - unset Real Life for the teen, the young adult or the adult female sim you want to get pregnant;
2 - the option "Try for baby" appears normally and the options to become pregnant with Inseminator and InTeenimater work normally;
3 - once the female sim is pregnant, wait that she gives birth and only after giving birth, set again the Real Life for her (then you can subtract the days left until you reach the real age that she had before the pregnancy).

WARNING
To play with this mod, you must delete (if you have it) the hack that modifies the BCON related to the total days in the seasons and, also if it doesn't conflict, it's better if you don't have hacks that change the days left of your sims and/or pets.

EXPANSION PACKS REQUIRED
This mod requires only the Seasons EP.
However, to make it work as intended, it's better if you also have the University and the Pets EPs (but remember that they are not required).

USE OF THE MOD
You can't clone it or modify it, but you can take a cue from the BHAV functions if you need help to create your own mods.
