Testers Wanted -- New Beds -- *UPDATED* 8/21/05

Two new beds, mesh created with MilkShape, Objects created with Mesh Tool by Miche and Delphy, and the wonderful SimPE program. Not sure if the CEP is required, I have it, if you don't, and the beds don't show up, go get it.

This is my first effort with 3D design that I care to talk about or show

Need room to hide all those things you don't want visitors to see? What better place than under the bed.
Uses all custom bedding as well as the Maxis originals.
Free to recolour as you want, however if you post on a pay site, this mesh MUST remain a free download, or post a link to where a free download can be found.
Anything made by me is File-Share-Friendly and MUST remain that way.

And, before anyone asks, the drawers are only decorative, they don’t work, I’m not that good yet.

Please let me know if you have any problem with the files, they work just fine in my game. I have University installed, so they have not been tested to see if they work without it.

7 Recolours for each are included as separate downloads (recolours are the same for single bed as for full).

Thanks everyone, glad you like them, and to Motoki, thanks for the post on the poly count, I forgot to add that fact. They have a low count because they are made mostly of hollow boxes.

Update -- 1 June 05

I have hated the uv-mapping on these since I made them, I finally redid them the way I wanted in the first place. So now the bases and the recolours are finally all lined up correctly. Also added a new recolour in Blackwood, which brings the total recolours of each to 7.

New in game specs,

Single --
Poly count = 1108, vertices = 916, Comfort = 7, Energy = 8, Room = 5, Price = 550 Simoleons

Full --
Poly count = 1616, vertices= 1127, Comfort = 7 Energy = 8 Room = 5 Price= 900 Simoleons

Both have been optimized and are well below Maxis recommended levels, and hopefully I used bases from the original game so there should be no problem for those without University using them. There are also 2 new recolour for each, the same white and blackwood I used with my other beds so I haven't included a new photo.

UPDATE 8/21/05

Changed the comfort, sleep and relax values on the bed to match their posted values.
