Sleigh Style Day Bed *Updated 4/17*

4/17 - I finally figured out how to get a bed ruffle based on the bedding texture. I've mapped it to the top left corner of the textures which is where the uppersheet folds into the comforter. To use this updated version, delete all the original daybed packages from your downloads directory, then grab the SS_Sleigh_Day_BedRuffle... files, extract and put in your downloads dir. Your ruffle will then automatically change with bedding choice. This uses the same guid as the original so you can only use on or the other.

Perusing the forums yesterday I came across a thread mentioning daybeds. I thought that would be a cool idea, so here is a Sleigh Style Day bed. This is based on a bed and has all the normal bed animations. It has a unique GUID and was made with SimPE .35. It is EP compatible.

I couldn't figure out how to add the ruffle to the bedding mesh without having the bedding freak out. So I added the ruffle to the frame. The day bed uses the bedding textures from the ironwood colonial bed (as usual). I've created some frame/ruffle recolours that should compliment the existing bedding.

The mesh file contains the mesh in oak color with the blue ruffle. The frame colors match those used in the rest of the Sleigh Style furniture.

The oak recolours contain the red, black, green, yellow and white ruffles with the oak frame.

The cherry recolours contain the blue, red, black, green, yellow and white ruffles with the cherry frame.

The white recolours contain the blue, red, black, green, yellow and white ruffles with the white frame.

As requested here are a white frame and pink ruffle and a white frame and violet ruffle.

If you need a ruffle to match something specific post a pic of what you want to match.

If you need any specific ruffle colors let me know. I can also provide my paintshop pro file if you want to create frame/ruffle recolours yourself.

As usual do not post my files on any sites. You are free to recolour to your hearts content. If you post your recolours make sure you post a link back to the original mesh.

Note: For some reason the green and black came out very dark in the screen shot. They looked alot light at home I'll try to get a better screenshot tonight.
