Have you ever been frustrated by the lack of public pool lots in The Sims 4? I was, so I set out to build one myself. However, before I began, a thought occurred to me: What better way to build a public pool than to recreate the one we all know and love from Sunset Valley in The Sims 3? That's why I built Le Petite Shark Pool Center in The Sims 4!

The lot is almost identical to the original in every way, from the floor and wallpaper tiles, to the tree and rock placement, to the floorplan of the bathrooms. Even the lot size is the same as in The Sims 3! The only liberty I took was to increase the amount of flowering around the edge of the lot, since in The Sims 3 the flowers and bushes were quite scarce and unattractive.

The only item of custom content used in this lot is the Functional Lounge Chair by Esmerelda. If you choose not to download this custom content, you can just place normal chairs on the lot in your own game as you wish.

Important download information
If your game is not updated to the December 4 patch (the one with the colored maps), you'll need to download the first file and install the No Venue Requirements mod by Plasticbox in order for non-active sims to visit it and actually treat it like a public pool. If your game is updated to the December 4 patch, the second file will work fine without the No Venue Requirements mod.

To install, just unzip the contents of the zip file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray folder.
