These mods will allow you to play the Sims 4 with custom lifespans that are similar to lifespans in the Sims 3.
How does the game behave by default ?
The default lifespan in the Sims 4 is as follows :
- baby : 2 days
- toddler : 7 days
- child : 13 days
- teen : 13 days
- young adult : 20 days
- adult : 20 days
- elder : 10 days
This lifespan has fast and slow settings, which allow in aging settings to divide lifespan by 2 or to multiply it by 4.
In addition, the active trait benefits from a 10% longer lifespan, and the long lived trait benefits from a 25% longer lifespan.
What does this mod change to the game's behavior ?
This mod has 5 flavors that have been based on all Sims 3 lifespans, as well as one additional realistic flavor based on the rule that 28 sim days are equal to one sim year, which is equal to one real life year, as defined on the NRaas website.
These lifespans have been adjusted to even numbers in order to easily calculate them if you want to use fast (lifespan divided by 2) or slow (lifespan multiplied by 4) aging settings.
In order to reproduce Sims 3 aging faithfully, the vegetarian trait now benefits from a 10% longer lifespan, similar to the active trait.

How do I install this mod ?
Unzip it. Place the package in your Mods folder. Start the Sims 4 and enable custom content and mods in Game options - Other. Apply changes, quit and restart the Sims 4, and enjoy !
All flavors conflict with each other, please use only one. You can alternate between flavors by installing and uninstalling them between gaming sessions though.

Patch and updates
The current version of this mod was built with version 1.30, including base game and City Living content, and is base game compatible. It might be incompatible with earlier versions of the Sims 4, more particularly with older versions not including the toddler patch ; if your game isn't up-to-date, use at your own risk.
I will do what I can to keep this mod up-to-date ; if the mod is out-of-date for several months or more, I encourage you to contact me. If I don't reply, you're allowed to upload an updated version, if you credit me as its author and link to the original mod.
