For those unfortunate sims who live in an area without proper lakes or who simply can't afford a lake house, or for whom a lake house for other than aforementioned reasons is beyond reach...
Here's my attempt to present a solution they can contend with! A cottage house by a large(ish) pond which your sims can happily imagine to be a lake!
It is most suitable for a family of three, and comes with running water in the house plus electricity: in short, the basic luxuries of life are included, and more can be bought for simoleons (naturally). I'm only afraid the style might not be the latest fad. Hope you don't mind.
