Theodore Jasper "T.J." Detweiler (Ross Malinger, Andy Lawrence, Myles Jeffrey, Axel Alba) is the protagonist and leader of the main characters in the TV show Recess.

T.J. is the leader of the main six kids on the show and has been best friends with them since kindergarten. He is outgoing, kindhearted, and friendly, and takes having fun very seriously. While he is prone to occasional lapses of ignorance and laziness, he consistently executes playground schemes that improve the lives of him and his friends.
