Hello everyone!!
The Decades Challenge is here!!
Well.. I had already starded building the houses for this challenge last year... but never finished. One of the reasons is that my game was crashing in the lot and I couldn't save it anymore... one of the rules of the challenge, as I'll explain, is that we can't build another shell... we need to "renovate" it. It wasn't working, so I stopped in the 1950 decade.
Also, I hadn't done any reasearch on how the houses were build, which style was "on" in each decade... so I didn't like the houses neither my job.
That's why I decided to rename all the houses I've already posted and start all over again.
Besides, we've got new features in the game that makes it easier to build and play this challenge.
No further ado... let's begin!
For those who don't know this challenge, it consists basically in living through the decades. But you must follow the rules to play. Both live and build mode have rules, and as I'm a builder, I'm only building the houses for those of you who want to play the challenge. I'll link a google doc with the rules and explanations of the challenge below.
FRONT VIEW:
I decided to build a STARTER HOME, as I imagine you guys will start a new game to play this challenge. So, it's a simple house, built for two households, with the cheapest wood furniture.
The bathroom is outside, as the rules commands.
Also, the lot has the OFF THE GRID trait, so all the objects I placed are functional in this type of lot.
It has also a little opened 'greenhouse' space, where your Sims can make their money, as well as crafting.
Well... soon I'll post the next decade house!!
