At first, Glynis may look like a serious businesswoman who?s finding every opportunity to bring in more dough. However, business is not as front-and-centre in her life as it would seem; Glynis makes sure that she finds time to treat herself, and to pursue recreational activities like gardening, and frequenting the park. Her prolonged days of studying business at university somewhat wore her out and wore her business acumen down, hence her valorisation of relaxing once her work is done for the day.

Glynis was inspired by, and somewhat parodies, Gladys Sharp, the antagonist of Over the Hedge (2006).
