Hello everyone,
I'm brainchildvn; you might know me as a lurker on these forums or from TSR. I make contacts, and I have genuinely been amazed at the amount of talent and kindness that people have shown me here. Thus, here are my humble contributions, a complete set of my fourth generation of contacts, which are available only here! You may recognize some of the eyes from TSR; I have tried to stay true to the old favorites, but all of these I had to recolor without really knowing the exact original color, so please forgive me if a color is not exactly like one of my third generations.
I have experimented long and hard, testing different colors and trying different combinations. I have a high standard for anything I keep in my Sims 2 folder, so I delete anything that I personally would not use. I'm pleased to say that these are all my best creations and I am more than glad to share them with you. I think I can say that there's something for everyone here, as I have tried to create a variety of different colors and combinations. I will also add that I have had a lot of inspiration from photos of eyes and eyes from other Sims artists, but everything here has been drawn from my own hand.
I'm sorry that the organization is not great, I understand that some people will not like all of them and will want to remove some of them, but there are just so many of them that it would be very difficult for me to sort them out or upload them on an individual basis. Feel free to recolor them for your own personal needs and convert them to genetics eyes or remove fangs or any such thing as you please, but do NOT upload them to TSR (I have my own account there) or any other site without my permission. I am generous and usually won't object if you ask me.
Anyways, on to the contacts! They are under Costume Makeup and will be placed on top of your Sims' genetic eyes. Available for both genders and all ages, including toddlers (changeable with the special toddler's mirror at this site).
You will see a variety of eyes: some are subtle and designed to blend in with your Sims' features, some are bright and vivid and designed to stand out, and quite a few are two-toned contacts that blend different colors together for a unique and beautiful look! Hopefully the screenshot shows you well enough how each of the colors look. The names on the picture don't correspond with the names in the game just because I didn't have time to think of names of colors on the spot (I'm a guy, sorry if my colors are off or I use the wrong names).
Special note: the four vampire eyes come with bloody fangs too, oh yes! If you don't like the fangs, feel free to use bodyshop and black out the alpha for the fangs. If you want to change the contacts into genetic eyes for your personal use, be my guest! Requests and suggestions for new colors are welcome, at the end of the day my creative juices stop flowing and I run out of ideas, but feel free to give me suggestions or comment on my contacts. If I get enough ideas I may upload a second collection. For the most part, I do eyes and contacts only, I'm not good with skinning clothes or the like mainly because I don't have a good eye for fashion. :-/
Makeup by Vanilla Tango and vampire skin by me!
Enjoy everyone, sorry about the huge amounts of text, I just had so much to say. :D
