Default-female Children Formal Dress

Why is Maxis party dress always looks drab? - with ugly colours. And how does it feel going to a party with faded looking dress (smh). I have been using these recolours by fakepeeps7. But lately I try to minimize my custom content, so I defaulted this cfbodydressformal using her textures.
