As the fresh sea breeze rolls over the ferry and the choppy waters calm, turn to the lands and you might just hear the yowling of cats, inhale the smell of fresh produce, guano and the sights of numerous shipwrecks. Paradise.

A neighbourhood like few others with a rich history, strange sites and semi-nautical theming.
15 families, two tribes interwoven through blood, fear and compassion. Stark differences divide some Sims while others couldn't care less.

Nga moutere ngaro translates (roughly) from te reo Māori to "the Lost Islands." In shape of an Atoll, with a few scattered outlying islands, this hood offers:

33 Residential lots
14 owned by the two tribal villages and alien folk.
3 apartment lots of unique designs
8 beach properties (not actual beach lots)
8 Boathouses of various designs and prices.

18 Community lots
4 owned businesses. (both farm lots, Kitty Kafe and Edgar Canis Museum)
2 cemeteries and one grave on the seas (Sandbar)
11 of various designs.

As well as lots of tropical views, arguments and sanity drops!

Important Notes
1. Only the Main Pier Road lots can be moved without using LotAdjuster. The ocean lots have no roads to snap to, The archipelago lots are ocean lots, the village lots reach into the ocean.
2. Only Pirate playground, the Container Apartments, Lighthouse Apartments and the Edgar Canis Museum are flat lots.
3. The two tribes are heavily linked genetically within themselves. (eg Mary Abanot will see the Tenmors as family.) Done using extended relatives extended treated as Family (extended family/ full version) mod
4. A Camera Mod will be required to access the Micro-pelego village.
I personally use Gunmod's Camera

Other Notes/Inspirations
1. Pool squares have been added to each lot for water shaders users. Reflections will often not make sense. eg Pond & Sea Water Overhaul by Voeille
2. Merfolk are designed around the clothing tail version so they can be changed out for desired tail types, for most versatility. Merfolk tail choice is up to each person, I use both "Nameless but Awake" by Lifa for the teeth/scales and Midge's Mermaid tails for the actual tails.
3. Inspiration for the Edgar Canis came from the Edwin Fox, rotting away in Picton, Aotearoa (New Zealand)
