Description
The Sims 2 Change Appearance dialog box Hair Style & Color tab from the base game up to the Pets expansion pack used to be in a 3 columns × 4 rows grid, like the grid in the Beards & Mustaches tab. The Sims 2 Seasons expansion pack introduced the ability to change hairstyles per outfit. To accommodate the outfit selector buttons, it reduced the grid to 2 columns × 4 rows.

The Sims 2 Bon Voyage expansion pack introduced jewelry and added a Jewelry tab to the Change Appearance dialog box. The Jewelry tab also has per outfit selector buttons, so it inherited the 2 columns grid size.

This mod restores the grid size back to 3 columns × 4 rows in the Hair Style & Color tab by moving the outfit selector buttons from the left side to the top of the grid and removing the decorative separator graphic. This mod also modifies the grid in the Jewelry tab to be in a 3 columns size as well.

Fixes
During the creation of this mod, I also discovered some errors in the dialog box code and fixed them:
  • The preview of the Sim had a layering mistake. It appeared on top of the dialog box frame. This mod fixed it.
  • The Earrings image button in the Jewelry tab was written twice in the code, so it appeared stacked on top of the other. You may have noticed this because it resulted in a darker outline visual glitch. This mod deleted one.
  • The Bracelets, Rings, Earrings, Necklaces, and Miscellaneous image buttons in the Jewelry tab did not have the clicking sound effect code like other image buttons. This mod added the clicking sound effect code to them. They now produce a clicking sound effect when clicked.
  • The Left and Right hand static images in the Jewelry tab had clicking sound effect code, so they produced a clicking sound effect when you clicked them. This was unnecessary because those static images do nothing. This mod removed the unnecessary clicking sound effect code.

Update
For those who feel a dialog box with 3 columns is too small, I created the 4-column and 5-column version as well. The 4-column and 5-colum version have custom graphics in them, so if you don't want custom graphics, use the original 3-column version.

Expansion Pack Required
The resource is identical in The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, FreeTime, Apartment Life, Mansion and Garden stuff. So to use this mod, your latest expansion pack should be one of those.
