Missing Jewelry

While creating a list of all The Sims 2 hairstyles, clothing, jewelry, etc., I've discovered that the puka shell coral necklace for female teenagers (tfAccNecklacePukaShell_Coral) and the rose quartz center beads necklace for female children (cfAccNecklaceCBeads_RoseQuartz) do not appear in the game. After checking, I found that this is because they have minor mistakes in their Mesh Overlay XML (XMOL) files. The mod BV_NecklaceJewelry_Fix fixed it. They now appear in the game and can now be bought in their respective vacation destinations.

Lost and Found Jewelry

While analyzing Bon Voyage's Skins.package, I've also found some XMOL resources of Jade Ring jewelry that have no corresponding Binary Index (BINX) resource in the globalcatbin.bundle.package file, so they do not appear in the game. It seems Maxis forgot to create catalog resources for them. The Jade Ring is available for adult male, adult female, teenager male, teenager female, and can be worn on the right or left hand. Catalog resources have been created for them in two collection variants: Far East and Non-vacation. Collections determine where your Sims can buy or find the jewelry.
  • Far East (BV_JadeRing_FarEast): Your Sims can buy the jade rings when they go on vacation to the Far East/Takemizu Village vacation destination. I made this variant because jewelry with the same material, Jade Bracelets, belong to the Far East jewelry collection.
  • Non-vacation (BV_JadeRing_NonVacation): Your Sims can buy the jade rings in regular community lots and they are available in CAS. Choose this variant if you want to use this mod with the Vacation jewelry made available in CAS mod .
