German Police Uniforms – Recolours by Miki


This is an override file for police career and NPC uniforms. As long as you have these files in your downloads folder, there will be no police officers in blue uniforms anymore!

This is a mod for German players who always wanted to have "real" looking police officers in their game. I changed the Maxis uniforms (Thanks to Morague for extracting!) and created an override by using Vagrant's great DIY Law Career Overrides.


This file contains the following packages:


German_Police_Career_override.package

Your sims that choose a Law Enforcement Career will wear the German khaki-green uniform.


German_Police_NPC_override.package

If a burglar visits your house and the police is called, they too will wear the German uniform. I'm sorry that their car will be American, but I haven't figured out how to change that (if you know how to, please PN me ). Also, I have no influence on NPC characters otherwise, so if you have a black police officer arriving, I can't help it. (This is not a racist comment, but there are almost no black police officers in Germany – actually, I've never seen one in my life, even though I wouldn't care at all. )

I included these two uniforms (sorry for the long names :D), so if you downloaded my buyable set of German uniforms, you'll have those two files twice and should delete one of them.


I only tested with Original TS2 and Nightlife (University installed, though), but since this is a Maxis NPC mesh, there shouldn't be any problems with any expansion.
