This is Kaho, the main character of a story I have been writing for the past 5 years.

Kaho was born in a small rural village in Japan, where she later served as the village's shinto priestess. On her 24th birthday, a demon-assasin by the name of Tsunami attacked the village temple, and kidnapped her 7 year old sister Yoko. Kaho fought Tsunami, but died while shielding Yoko from a onslaught of his throwing daggers.

News of Kaho's death soon reached the Heavens, to the Moon Goddess Lunarsica, who had fallen in love with her. Because Kaho had given her life for her sister's, it was deemed worthy that she be resurrected. Thus, Lunarsica restored Kaho's life and granted her immortality, as the Goddess Rinakaho. Rinakaho lives on, even now, watching over the mortal world and its people.
