I realized that though I've had this for download on my site for almost a year, I'd never released it here.


I like my dorms to look like "dorms." Utilitarian, not that luxurious, but functional. This dorm has had a lot of playtesting, not only by me, but several others as well.


Basement included for aspiration rewards or whatever. Room outside for gardening and a back door to access the pond for fishing.


I built is specifically to look like it fit in Sim State as this picture shows, however, you do need to move the rocks and tree group in the neighborhood just a bit so this fits where I've pictured it here. Siding and walkways are the same as used in Maxis-made Sim State buildings.


Space for 10 with 4 double rooms that seem to work fine. Single sims work great in the double bed rooms in each corner. I didn't put gender doors on the bathroom as it annoys me to send the right sim to the right bathroom, but that could be easily changed if you want those.

I used one of my own maxis rug recolors from Maxis Recolors: Room in a Box (Living Room) - Tan-Stripe-Bravo . I included it on this page for convenience. If you don't want to download it, it'll just default to a maxis rug, no harm done. No other custom content or walls/floors!
