The Art Deco style began in 1925 at a French Expo. The style celebrated the beauty of the machine age, focusing on geometric, vertically oriented design. This house is my attempt at Art Deco, with brightly colored stucco walls, rectangular cutouts, and a focus on geometric patterns (diamonds, triangles, zigzags, & chevrons) in the decor.
Situated on a small lot, the 3 storied house has a built-in garage, 3 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. On the 1st level is the living, dining, kitchen and a small full bath tucked behind the stairwell. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms on the second level, along with a family room and a little computer nook. The third level is the brightly colored rec room. Anything a sim would ever want to do in their spare time, he/she could do it here. There are two small balconies in the front and a balcony on the back, large enough to star gaze, paint or excersize. The small but action packed yard is fully decorated with colorful plants and palms. Your sims can lounge in the hottub, swim or have a cookout.
