Recolors of Sims2Play Oriental Bookcase and Coffee Table 2
Here are 8 recolors of the "Oriental Bookcase" and "Bamboo Coffee Table" from Sims2Play's "Oriental Living" set. You will need the meshes from Sims2Play to use these recolors (link below).
All recolors use a wood texture for the frames, which can be seen when zooming up close. I changed the coffee tables' tops from bamboo to a realistic mosaic (the tops are not separately selectable, unfortunately). Several of the wood colors I picked for these recolors will nicely match with Maxis' original wood colors, so they will be easy to use with other furniture you may already have.
The original mesh is a very dark brown (often referred to as "wenge"), and there's an additional light wood recolor on Sims2Play's web site. I was unable to locate any other recolors of those great meshes anywhere else (except for 2 unusual wood colors that didn't match anything else I have in my game).
Both meshes are base-game compatible. I do not believe the bookcase is FreeTime-updated though.
All files are clearly named, so you can select only those you want.
