The Fairytale Sky Castle (base on the Neuschwanstein castle)

The sky castle design was inspired by one single picture of the Neuschwanstein in Germany. The original castle was very big, and I can't construct all of them in the largest lot 60x60 in the game. But even it's much smaller than the original, it is still look gorgeous like in the fairytales.

That's start the tour of the castle.



The gate
The gate is of arched shape, with a bridge drop down across a river for the outside access. Above the gate, is two watch-turrets. And 2 watchtowers are on each sides of the gate. It has plenty rooms as barracks. And your sim will feel very comfortable living in the gate building if he/she has to work.

The palace
The palace is for the King. The first and 2nd floor are the original throne room, and very suitable for using as an opera theater. The 3rd floor is the the loyal bedrooms and the 4th floor is the snack-bar/kitchen and the reading room. Both the Griffin turret and Gargoyle turret are only accessible from the 3rd floor.



The garden
The garden is beautiful, especially with the fountain, the view and the canopy. It's a great place for outdoor parties.

The height and stairs
All the turrets, towers and the palaces are very high. The highest one is the Dragon tower, which reaches the max height of the game you can go (I don't know there is a max height in the game previously). Because of the height, each floor is much higher than the regular. Amazingly, the stairs works perfectly, still take only 6 grids as regular but hanging in the air. There's no CFE involving the stairs. You just put there. You sims walk on it like regular one.



The towers and turrets
All the towers and turrets are different in structures. They are not only for decorating but all of them can be accessed to their tops. There are 2 small roof-patios above the palace, kind like the 5th floor, one is accessible through the Griffin turret and the other is accessible from the 4th floor.

The dungeons
Every castle has its dungeons. This dungeon is huge. The prism is under the Minotaur tower and not connected to the rest dungeons. The rest dungeons are converted to a large swimming pool/gym, a gallery and some storage rooms. The cellars work like secret hidings, since your sim has to walk a long way to reach them.
