These are Non-Default Top and Bottom Meshes, they do not over-ride anything.
***I have disabled the textures for 'random' and 'career' so they should not show on town sims. This should prevent a chopped off look. Anyone who textures these meshes must disable random and career as well.
The reason I narrowed the waist is to make it work better with the morphs when going to fat, but if you want a standard waistline, then so be it for a later upload.***
Available for Female Adult/YA.
The Meshes are technically usable in all categories, but that is dependent on the textures applied to them.
The provided EA textures are variously enabled for Everyday, Formal, Sleepwear, Athletic and Swimwear.
People keep asking for default meshes, but I have to point out that each clothing category in CAS is a unique mesh, so applying one default mesh for one item of clothing will not affect any other item.
Hi,
These meshes are a progression from the Lara Croft full body Mesh.
The BodyShape has been used as a template for the BottomShape and TopShape meshes.
I have also re-shaped the Relaxed_Jeans mesh and the Fitted_Top mesh along similar lines. So now you dont have to stick with skintight outfits.
The EA textures that will go properly on each mesh have been enabled by separate packages. If you do not install these, the meshes will not show in game.
The EA clothing styles have been combined to single lines where appropriate to save clutter. The screenshots show the thumbnails you are looking for in CAS.
The tops will only look right with the new bottoms, due to the narrowed waist. You will see in game what I mean, but the waist will look chopped off.
The bottoms will look ok with a standard EA overhanging top, because the overhang hides the join.
I will be designing outfits for them later. In fact, the reason for these meshes is a range of character outfits that wouldn't be appropriate without them. (Think comic book).
The slider morphs seem to work well with the new meshes, so long as you dont go to extremes.
I have tested in game and they look good.
{Technical Bit
If you use Delphys CTU version 1.7 onward to open the Clothing packages, you can get the Mesh technical details from that. If you use 'save as' in CTU to create a new package based on my original clothing packages, the Mesh details will carry over, so no long winded Hex editing of CasPart files to link to any new Meshes now. One proviso, using 'save as' from an opened package file gives an identical instance to the new caspart produced. The way around this is to edit the instance in s3pe to something unique, and then the package file will work.}
Polygon Counts:
Polygon counts are unchanged from the EA base meshes.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
This mod has specific instructions!
Download at least a top and a bottom Mesh if you are going to use these meshes. Download the matching texture enabler to see the mesh in game.Filename | Size | Downloads | Date | |||||

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
