The trick is to stay alive.
Everyone is entitled to one good scare.

I love October, with all the leaves changing colors, and the weather, and jack-o-lanterns, and the smell of autumn…. I love raking a big pile of leaves and jumping in them, only to have to rake them up all over again. The corn fields and trees all around the little Kentucky town where I live are just beautiful during that time of year. So, naturally, I also love Halloween. I’m obsessed with it to be honest…. I mean, it’s August now, and I’m in the mood for Halloween already. I love watching the classic “Frankenstein” in black and white, and all the old Disney cartoons too…. And then there are the slasher films I’ve grown to love in recent years. “Friday the 13th”, “Psycho” and “Scream” are some favorites of mine (It just occurred to me that in all three of those films, the killer has mommy issues…LOLl). Then of course, there is the quintessential slasher film, set to a backdrop of my favorite time of year, on my favorite holiday of the year, “Halloween”. Now, to be honest, I loved Rob Zombies remake of the original film, but I’m scared to see what direction he takes the sequel. I feel that after the first 2 original films, the series was ruined because when they couldn’t get Jamie Lee Curtis to return as Laurie Strode, they simply killed her character off, and moved on to extended family. Needless to say, I didn’t like any of the films to follow, and I absolutely hated “Halloween 6” especially, because it introduced a supernatural element that hadn’t been in any of the other films. Then they made “H20”, and restored my faith in the franchise once again. I loved how they treated “Halloween: 20 years later” as a direct sequel to “Halloween 2”, and there by negating all the films I didn’t really like, as well as removing the supernatural element. Anyways, this brings me to my sims.

First, I made Michael Myers. I thought “how hard can it be to recreate his mask?”… Well, the answer is very, very hard, and that was due to 2 main reasons. First of all, it looked different in almost all the films, so my goal to make a mask that was similar to all of them was difficult. The second reason is that Ooga booga is a very harsh critic. LOL No, actually, I wanted to take this time to think everyone on the CFF for all their help, and especially Ooga booga for being such a good source of positive criticism. He really helped me out with making this sim as authentic as I could get it to be. Anyways, Michael is a base game baby, so all you have to is install and play. No meshes required. However, if the outfit does not show up for you, you might need to download the repo man from here. I have no reason to believe the outfit won’t function perfectly for everyone, but I wanted to link it just in case. It should work fine though, without downloading anything else, because the mesh is from base game.

So, while I was making Michael, I got to thinking that he isn’t the only main character of the series. The original plot focused on his little sister as well. And in my favorite movie of the series, “H20”, she returns. Not only did she return, but she kicks some ass in that movie, and even gets a little axe happy. I was so happy Jamie Lee returned, and this time she wasn’t playing the role of the victim as much as in the first two films. So, I decided to sim her as well. To be honest, she was easier to make than her ‘brother’, although finding a hair for her was a pain in the behind. I finaly settled for my own re-color of this hair from Raon Sims 2, so all you need to download from there is the mesh, because I included the recolor with the sim. You can find her outfit from the pic here, at Liana Sims 2. The skintone is a slight variation of HP’s amazing “Idolatry of Flesh”, however the face is my own photoskin of Jamie Lee Curtis, and the boobs are borrowed from Stefan’s skintone that he uses on his celeb sims. The eyes are by the brilliant Bruno, as well is some of the make-up she is wearing… She comes with everything see in the pictures except for the hair mesh, and the outfit.

As always, please don’t steal mine, or anybody else’s work, and if you use these, or any of my sims in a movie, or pictures, please, let me know, cause it would rock my socks. Enjoy!
