Craterville - Life on the Moon (or other planet)

"Long ago on a distant planet, a meteorite plummets towards the ground. The impact is enormous, leaving a huge crater scarring the landscape. However, when the dust settles the planet's inhabitants discover that beautiful peaks and mountain ranges have been formed, and it soon became one of the most desirable areas to live, most other places consisted of flat, bleak, rocky landscapes. What stories will emerge from the citizens of this new civilisation?"



Before I continue, I would like to thank QwinsepiaSquared for the use of her Moon terrain texture in the screenshots. It is NOT included, but I really recommend it if you are hoping to make Craterville an "Out of this World" place to live . (I'd use the dirt version if you don't want all your grassy hoods looking like the moon!)

I first got the idea of an exterrestrial planet from Qwin's terrain replacement, and then I remembered "Craterville" from Simcity 3000, and from there it sort of made itself. I may also make a few homes to compliment the hood, but not for a while.
