So you've got this family of Sims, right? And they have a lot of money. And you don't know where to put them?
I know where to put them.
IN THIS HOUSE. :D

Finely furnished with the upper, UPPER middle class in mind, this house is perfectly suited for a growing family, housing up to 6 sims quite comfortably. Whether you are looking for a place to put your old, retired wealthy couple, or you have a well-off family with a few extra simoleans to spend, this is the house you're looking for. Entertaining guests? No problem! Take them outside around the firepit! Children? Keep the little kidlets entertained as well with the dual swingset out back. Nosy neighbors? I suggest finding and downloading an invisible fence, if you can find one, because a fence would make this house look.....weird.
Also, you may have noticed that the larger fireplace has a gap near the bottom. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about that. That's the game's fault. If you put a fireplace on a house that does not have a foundation, you don't see that gap because the fireplace is on the ground. But for some reason, EA decided that if you put a fireplace on a house with a foundation, you need that gap - I didn't program the game, so I don't know why it's necessary. I spent 4 hours fiddling with it, trying to make it work, and the only solution would be to put a foundation under the fireplace, and then hide the ugly thing by building a room around the chimney, which aesthetically draws away from the house. Therefor, I left it unchanged.
Look at all that attention to detail! You must be saying, "Punkface, did you design all of this simply from your imagination? Incredible!" Well, folks, let me be the first to tell you that NO, I did not. This house is very (and I mean very) loosely based off a house in my neighborhood that I have had the pleasure of visiting many times over the past 8 years. I say loosely because pretty much the only thing I could make remotely accurate was the *ahem* outer walls of the house. And the dining room. Well okay, most of the first floor is pretty accurate. Anyway.
And silly Eaxis. (Are they EA or Maxis now? I can't keep track...)
I totally put shutters on the bottom windows, in the front of the house. But when you'r eon the second story or higher, you can't see them! See?
They're there, I promise you.
Oh, and take heed of what I said before with invisible fences.....I recommend one, if such a thing exists. The newspaper gets delivered to the sliding glass door on the back of the house. -_-

SO how much is lavish luxury worth to you, in the interests of your rich sims? Is it worth the generous price of $111,831? It should be.
