Description:
Ancient Navigation is the art of setting sails on the high seas, like in ancient times. Learn everything you need to know about navigation and combat, and even the art of negociation. This is precious knowledge for all kinds of navigators; merchants, explorers and battle fleets alike. Will you use it for good, or evil?

Doesn't override any major.
Has been tested several times. Works sooo well, I decided to educate all my future pirates, traders and adventurers now.

Appropriate careers did follow to go with this, and the skills you gain are also super-useful for many other careers (Maxis or not). I use it alot in my game because of the great opportunities to build the most interesting skills (who wants to spend their time cooking or cleaning in college??). I like to get my sims good charisma, brains and muscle while they have time on their hands.

Focused skills: Mechanical, Body, Charisma, Creativity.

Why these skills?

Mechanical
The first thing to a navigator is to be good at controlling their ship. Manoeuvering a ship, with the sails and everything, requires to understand how it works, lol. Ships are complicated devices.

Body
A great body constitution is essential for sailing, for combat and for general endurance to physical factors such as those likely met on the high seas. Weather, animals, enemies, etc.

Charisma
For your leadership towards your crew, and if you want your name in the History books of your descendants. If you want to be a respected, famous ship Captain instead of a random guy part of the crew, boost your Charisma.

Creativity
To be able to find solutions to unusual problems. To often come up with new strategies. Useful to get ahead in battle and other competitive aspects of life.

You will need FrikaC's Majors Made Easier mod to use my custom major in your game:

You'll have fun seeing how certain classes improve your sim's mood and others deplete it. Gunnery, for example, is a messy class to follow, as students are in contact with a real cannon, and as training they have to carry dirty, heavy cannonballs! But it's fun to be in direct contact with powerful artillery. I'll let you discover the rest.

Have fun! I know your sims will.

Need special sims to go with this?

Try my Pirate guys, Barbarossa & Black Beard, or my other navigators, six amazing Sailors!
You can easily turn them into Young Adults in Bodyshop, and then they'll be ready to study this.

There was a typo in the word 'Negotiation', it has been fixed with the help of Sophie-David. Thank you for noticing! Please download the fixed version if you don't want typos in your sim's college stuff.
