As I stated in my last upload, I completely love gardening in The Sims 3. Naturally, with the addition of World Adventures, this transferred over to nectar-making; naturally, then, that meant that I wanted a French-themed home for my nectar-making Simmies.
I couldn't find anything I liked online, though. In fact, I couldn't even find references to build my own, because I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted in the first place.
And then I stumbled on the website for a vacation home in the south of France (the Côte D'Azur, to be exact) known as Domain St Jacques de Couloubrier. And I fell in love.
If you were to look up Domain St Jacques de Couloubrier online, you'd see that my version isn't exactly like the real-life version; it's not supposed to be. For one thing, building an exact replica using the limited tools in The Sims 3 would have been impossible; for another, I wanted my creation to look right at home in Champs les Sims. But I certainly used the unique look of Domain St Jacques de Couloubrier as my inspiration.
Even though it visually has three levels, La Maison du Frêne actually only has one playable level. I've found that single-level homes, especially of that size and especially when your family has more than one Sim, are much easier to deal with than multiple-level homes.
It also includes a fully-mature garden with all grape varieties, including the original "grapevine", as well as life fruit, flame fruit, and all six fruit trees to get your nectar-making started immediately. All plants are of perfect quality so you don't have to waste time with inferior plants. The house also has a nectar-making machine in the shed to the rear of the house, and numerous nectar racks.
You will need the first three expansion packs for this home -- World Adventures, Ambitions, and Late Night. You do not need any stuff packs.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
