Default Replacement Angel Wings

*EDIT* I've replaced the wing replacement file with one with a lower wing so it matches up to the glow and looks more connected to the body. Please re-download if the previous ones bothered you.

For a long time I've been wanting to replace the swirl (or ribbon) wings for fairies in supernatural but the glowing outline always ruined all my attempts. When I found Velocitygrass's No Effects Mod tool I got super excited because I figured I could use it to get rid of the annoying glowing outline and it worked! So here I present to you a default replacement of the swirl (or ribbon...) fairy wings with no annoying glowy outline to ruin the effects of the wing. I chose angel wings because of a request from my last default replacement wings and I really liked the idea.

This mod overrides the ep7WingRibbon_0x3d02b573962e4470_img in the DeltaBuild2 package so it will be incompatible with any mod overriding it.


Here is the fairy wing in white. This is the most recent version where the wing has been lowered to fit better.

Darker colours really show the texture of the wings.

An issue I noticed was that the dark wing tends to turn yellow and clear with lighter backgrounds. Not sure why this is. And pardon the lack of quality. My computer is really slow...

For the wings to look any good you will need one of the No Sparks files. I've added one that only removes the glow effect for the ribbon wings if you like the other originals and one that removes the glow effects for every wing if you've replaced the other wings.

An example of my own version of the fern wing without any sparks (I got the image from http://rittik.deviantart.com/art/Wi...ck-1-330133291). As you can see there is no glow distorting the wing image which you can see in other default replacements.

If you want to remove them yourself, you can use the TS3 Effects Modder from VelocityGrass http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=446536. They are all called EP7[some sort of wing type here]sparks for in game and EP7[some sort of wing type here]sparksCAS for in Create-A-Sim. If you just search 'sparks' you can find them easily. I'm not sure which wing is which for all of them though.

I have version 1.63 but it should work in other versions. Supernatural is obviously required.
