Victorian Avenue - 4 unique villas in one lot!

Are you looking for some vintage styled homes? This is a small, yet expensive lot, designed to give your neighbourhood a perfect Victorian look. The lot is designed on the last empty 2x3-lot of the luxurious part of Willow Creek. The 4 different villas are all unique and each furnished for 2 sims.
If you find the amount of houses abundant, the Sims 4 allows you to easily delete some of them.


Designing process:
This is my first attempt to design a lot on The Sims 4 and since I noticed that the game has quite some nice features for designing old styled homes, I really wanted to give it a try. However, things might look simpler than it actually is, and there were lots of features, that were either missing, or were extremely fiddly. Hopefully I did a good job to make the best out of the limitations. (max. 3 floors makes this quite a challenge because of towers)

The roofing is one of the things I believe signatures my Victorian style the most, and I hope it gives people inspiration for further development in this genre. Unfortunately this technique can't be used to make convex roof-corners, so the sides has to be walled (instead of having roof slopes in all directions).

The next secret is to use lots of different colours on the houses. The Sims 4 is extremely under-preforming when it comes to wooden panel colours, but eventually there will be more planks to download in the future.

Finally, I've put these houses close together to really create a nice environment, in contrast to having them all separated into different lots. And the key is not to make the individual houses too big.


As seen on the blue roof, concave corners (bent inwards) are fine.

Instructions:
- Extract the rar-file and put all the 8 files in the folder: /documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray/
- Customize your lot with the ingame "Move house" tool. Press "delete" to fully remove a whole house.


The move house tool marked with an orange circle can be used to customize the lot to fit your preferences.
