Here is a house I started a few years ago. It is a modern style with octagonal shaped rooms centered around a four story atrium.

On the ground floor is an entertainment room with doors into the atrium, small kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathroom, an exercise room, a laboratory and a room for small animals (lab womrats, etc) which leads out to the patio.
The main floor includes a spacious entryway, kitchen, dining room, a small sitting room, two living areas, a rooftop garden, a children's bedroom and bathroom.
On the top floor is the master suite, master bathroom, study area, and an outside bar area.
