If you have Update 1.10.57.1020 or above, then you don't need this mod anymore as EA already fixed it now. All of the eye colors are correctly flagged now.
As you might noticed, the Ghost patch introduced 5 new fancy looking eye colors.
Unfortunately, they are not linked to the male sims properly and that's why male sims can't inherit those eye colors.

You won't have any boys with purple eyes if both of the parents have purple eyes for instance.
The girls are not affected by this.

It's because the 'AgeGender' flag value of the new eyes are '207C'. The other eyes normally have '307C'.
I've fixed that and the male offsprings should inherit the fancy eye colors now.

This is a default replacement and only replaces the .caspart files.
So any eye default replacements that only replace the textures should work with this mod.

Just put 'zzz_Jawusa_EyeColorsFIX.package' in your Mods folder to install this tiny mod.

Even though you have this mod installed, there's still a chance that the offsprings inherit the amber eye color.
It's because the purple and amber eye colors share the same flag value. (0x0072)

By the way, I hope you like it and enjoy having male offsprings with fancy eye colors.
