UPDATE LOG - New version added
Did you know that Rebecah made a functional washer and dryer, which can be downloaded here? Well, if you didn't, now you do! They are fantastic, but I've always found it a little strange that they give fun, and max out hygiene/comfort. When I do laundry, my fun, hygiene and comfort do not max. More like tank!
So, for my own use I edited the code and removed motive gain. Sims gain cleaning skill, but that's it. Rebecah's policy is very generous and allows her work to be reused, so I decided to share my edits for others who also find it unrealistic that Sims gain fun, hygiene and comfort.
iCad made an edited version that adds autonomy, so that Sims will use them autonomously which is great if you want to build a laundromat and have townies do laundry too. Her policy is also very generous, and allows her work to be edited, so I decided to also edit her autonomous version for those who want autonomy.
What is this?
These are modifications of Rebecah's functional washing machine and dryer. The mesh, the recolors and all the work making this functional was done by Rebecah. Go give her some love and thank one of her uploads here on MTS, she has made so many great contributions to the community and deserves all the love and more.
You should also give some love to iCad who added autonomy to these and giving us the option of running a laundromat. Why not go thank one of her creations here on MTS as well?
General Information
The washer and dryer cost 150 simoleons, and are located in appliances -> large appliances. Polygon count for washer is 2022, and polygon count for dryer is 1737. No EPs/SPs required. Recolors are included in the mesh file.

I have made four versions to choose from. All of them are available on residential and community lots.

- No fun, hygiene or comfort
- Not autonomous
- Sims gain cleaning skill
- Same guid as Rebecahs originals. Will conflict with rebecah's originals and iCads autonomous version. Only use one of them.

I created this version because the autonomy is based on these objects giving fun, which means that a visitor may choose to use the washer/dryer in your Sims house if they are low on fun. I want them to be autonomous on community lots and in communal areas of apartments, but not in Sims homes. I also don't want my Sims to gain fun from laundry. The new guid means I can use both my no motive version in Sims homes, and the autonomous version on community lots/apartments.

The new guid is so that I can use a non-autonomous version in residential lots, to prevent visitors from using it when low on fun, and this version for community lots and apartments.
