Update: I'm planning to take down this upload soon for recreating / updating / converting it to Residential. If you would like a better version, with an apartment to live in, it's coming some time soon.

When recreating GTA lots, sooner or later the challenge is unavoidable to build a downtown high-rise - after all, we are in a "big city". Since I needed a new Salon (Ambitions EP) in my Los Santos neighborhood, and I wanted it to be an upscale downtown highrise, I decided to recreate the 3 Alta Street tower from the game - it's located in Downtown, and its first floor is occupied by a fashion boutique (a DidierSachs) and a coffee shop (the Bean Machine chain). The shop interiors are inaccessible in-game, so I had the pleasure to furnish them by my own ideas in Sims 3.

Of course, I couldn't make an accurate replica, I had to make compromises, partly because of my lacking skills, and partly because of the game limits (five floors only, for instance). Only the first floor of the tower is furnished, I found it more than enough for a Salon to fulfill its function. Salons in Sims 3 are usually furnished as beauty salons, but I followed the GTA example and arranged it as a high-class fashion boutique; I furnished a Bean Machine coffee shop too (as a self-service café and ice cream parlor), and added a tanning salon, too, with tanning booths. To remain faithful to the GTA lore, I didn't add a tattoo chair: in GTA 5 tattoo parlors are absolutely not upscale locations, on the contrary, and it wouldn't be authentic to put one into a DidierSachs boutique, but of course, you can change that.

PLAYTEST: I playtested the lot in Bridgeport and a custom neighborhood and haven't found routing or game-play problems. The lot is zoned as Salon (Ambitions EP), so it's first of all a career lot, not a social hangout, and it varies how many townies are attracted to visit it. I didn't put any register or coffee bar into the Bean Machine to avoid generating a new NPC; the lot will assign only a Stylist who is an already existing townie in your town, and of course, your active sim can apply for a stylist job and work here, as well. The lot can be freely rotated when placed on a parcel, the recommended front is the boutique entrance (the black awnings).

No CC, no Store content, and no spawners on the lot. Required EPs are: World Adventures, Late Night, Ambitions, Generations, Seasons, Showtime, University Life, Island Paradise.

Lot Size: 40x40
Lot Price (furnished): 218,663
Lot Price (unfurnished): 102,033
