I've always liked Maxis's Los Pescados del Mar wallpapers and I think they're great for bathrooms, but I wanted them to have tile. Well, now they do! As it turns out, the Los Pescados del Mar wallpapers go really well with Maxis's Atomica tile set, and it all happens to look great with the Family Fun underwater stuff... so this set has a lot of coordinating options already in game. The atomica set they're meant to coordinate with is from the Pets expansion, however these are base game compatible and will work without Pets.
It comes with five walls and five floors, all of which are maxis match since all I did was recycle Maxis textures. I gave everything in-game descriptions that match the Maxis descriptions... because isn't it nice when things look like they belong?
The first of the five walls is a white recolor of the Los Pescados del Mar wallpaper. It matches Maxis's "Paste" Paint wall. Just like Maxis's Los Pescados walls, its priced at $5 and is found under Wallpaper.
The other four walls utilize Maxis's atomica tile textures in white, multi, lemon, and aqua. I started to make lime and pink as well, but quickly decided they were too ugly. But if someone really wants to make them, feel free to recolor these walls; I don't mind. These tile walls are appropriately cataloged under Tile Walls, and cost $6.
Just FYI, the tile of my walls goes up higher than the tile of the atomica half-tile walls. Its on purpose -- I like seeing the backsplash behind my counters. So while the tiles themselves will line up with the atomica half-tile walls, they stop at different heights and aren't really meant to go together.
The first of the five floors included in this set is a multi-tile atomica floor, since Maxis didn't provide one! If you're not into fish and you just want to complete your atomica set, the file is called: floor-multi_tile_atomica-bumblebee560.package. The colors of the multi-tile floor are carefully arranged so that you won't get two of any color side-by-side when you cover the whole floor. This tile floor is priced at $5 and cataloged under Tile Floors just like all of the other atomica floors.
The other four floors are maxis atomica tile floors with los pescados fishy tiles. They all follow the same pattern, so you can mix and match them to your heart's content. The fishy multi tile floor has a different color arrangement from the plain multi tile floor, but you can safely pair them together without getting any of the same colors touching (they are both arranged to maintain a balance of the four colors in an apparently random pattern without any of those colors touching - a lot more thought went into those floors than you'd think at first glance!). Like the walls, these floors come in white, aqua, lemon, and multi. They are priced at $6 and cataloged under Tile Floors.
Here you can see how my set works with the existing maxis walls and floors. For each of the four colors you have at your disposal: a full tile wall, a half-tile wall with fish trim, a wallpaper with fish trim, a plain paint, a plain tile floor, and a fishy tile floor.
Here is an example of what you can do with this set. You can see here what these walls look like with counters, and why I chose to make them taller than the half-tile atomica walls. The shower recolor shown here was done by SpaceDoll and is available here (along with several other beautiful maxis-match plumbing recolors).
Enjoy, and Happy Simming!

Special thanks to the creators of the Sims 2 Homecrafter Plus (which I used to make these) and SimPE (which I used to locate the files and give them decent file names).
