Introducing the AeroHome!
Step back in time to what "was" the future with The AeroHome!

The year was 1972 when acclaimed architect Donna Chu was tasked with the responsibility of developing a home that would "suit the family of the future". At the time, the "SimNation Future Preparedness Agency for Concerned Individuals and Forward Thinking Minds" was behind this idea, as they had visioned a series of show homes that would give the general public an idea of what living in the new millennium would have to offer. The Agency outlined that each of the structures would have to include an ample amount of private outdoors space, that was secluded from public sight. It was then believed that the future would be devoid of public parks and outdoor spaces, and having one within the comfort of your own home was nothing short but a luxury.

With such an outline in mind Donna went to work to draw up a plan for what she called "The AeroHome". The home included several stunning features, such as the appearance of the home to seem as if it was suspended in the sky. Furthermore, the home would include a great mixture of public spaces to mix and mingle within, as well as more isolated and private rooms for the family's quarters. One of the main aspects that was featured within the home was what Donna called the "living quarters", which was one large room separated by a curtain.

This space was designed with the idea of hosting functions within, where the curtain could be drawn to separate the public and private spaces of the home. This would allow for the family to maintain their own personal sanctuary whilst allowing guests in and around the home. Donna had stated that "people in the future will no longer understand the meaning of privacy", and having these clearly defined spaces of recluse would be crucial for one's own sanity. In essence, she thought everyone would become a Nosy Nancy.

The home would later be constructed in the summer of 1973, where it was proudly featured in the "Looking Glass to the Future Exposition". The public masses gathered in awe around the home, beckoning at what glorious creations would soon be among them in only a few short decades. The home was a hit, as hundreds of families took great interest in owning one for themselves. At the time, it was estimated that over 60 families placed their reservation on the construction of the home, which was stated then to commence sometime in the new millennium. Others even went to such great lengths as placing hefty down-deposits on the design, which would secure their family (and their sanity) for what the future would bring!

With all of this attention (and extra cash) that Donna received, she became overwhelmed with the amount of demand for the home. After suffering from a series of panic attacks, Donna fled from the public eye later that year, and has yet to be seen or traced since. The families who set aside money for the homes construction had lost their deposits, and were left with nothing more than a single show home to prove. Seeing as the "SimNation Future Preparedness Agency for Concerned Individuals and Forward Thinking Minds" felt sorry for the families losses, they allowed each to stay within the home for a fortnight or two in attempts to make up for the sore feelings.

Now that all of that time has passed, and any sour feelings once held are sure to be dismissed, you can have the grand opportunity of owning the very first (and only) AeroHome in existence! It's amazing that this show home has been kept in such pristine condition, as it is ripe on the market for a budding family to grow within! Boasting two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and plenty of public (and private) space, you're sure to fall in love with the retro futuristic lifestyle that this home has to offer!
