The Caldera of Fire is a thing of beauty with its ruby red water, warmed by the seething stones below, breathing steam into the chill morning air, gurgling playful bubbles. Who can resist bathing in the mineral rich waters?

Resting under the trees and barbecuing are surely in order after a satisfying swim.

But there is so much more to see for though the earth beneath your feet may seem reassuringly solid, it can be a dangerous place to stand. Even when no sign of the fire within is to be seen and the crater appears asleep, it is impossible to forget the imprisoned forces that lie beneath.

There is a slender bridge over the water you can cross. I will bring to the mouth of one of the great wonders of the Sim world, the Caldera of Fire.
Descend the narrow stairs if you dare and look down into the burning center of Sim Earth.

The caldera is the throat of a living volcano. One of the four great volcanoes that spilled forth the tremendous oceans of lava that formed the original crust of the Sim continents. The Caldera of fire, though greatly diminished by an enormous eruption that caused the volcanic cone to collapse uncountable centuries ago, still burns with fires from the core of Sim earth.

Look down from the viewing platform and see rivers of glowing red lava spilling over the blackened earth, pouring into boiling, bubbling lakes of molten rock. You can even walk down and get a close up view of the lava.

Don't be afraid. Safety features have been put in place to divert the dangerous heat and fumes away from visitors, while at the same time a natural lava formation keeps you from straying off the path. Though the flames don’t often flare above the barriers, Sims must keep close to the viewing tower base when they are on the lower level. (Click only on terrain near the base of the tower.)

As if the ruby lake and caldera were not enough, the marvels of Sim technology give you yet another venue to enjoy, the Living Earth Movie Theater. Take a seat and watch a movie in one of the most unique environments on Sim earth. The theater was cut out of pure basalt and is decorated in soothing dark wooden tones that embody the spirit of the rock it is nestled in. Sit back in ultra-plush seating and breathe naturally water cooled, purified air in the warm months, or cozy up to heat directly from the earth in the winter. The Caldera of Fire and Living Earth Theater are open all year for your enjoyment.

You can choose to play this lot with the fire effects or without them.

For the fire effect to work you will need to download:
http://sims4studio.com/thread/2617/andrews-studio
Andrews Studio Effect player by Andrew at Sims 4 Studio (Scroll down for the effect player. Make sure to read and follow all instructions.)

You do not need to place the emitters in the lot after downloading the effects player. They have already been placed on the lot and pre-programmed with the flame effect. All you need to do is activate one of them and the rest will be activated simultaneously. To activate have your Sim go to the lot, pause the Sim, and click on one of the emitters (see photo). A menu will appear with several choices, select REPLAY ALL and un-pause your Sim.

The flames will not harm your Sims.
