Winter wool dress coats for your little girls

Whilst looking around the outerwear category for my female children Sims, I noticed a real lack of dressy coats. After looking around for custom content, I still didn't see what I wanted. So, as necessity is the mother of all invention, I decided I had to create my own.

I took one of the cute shiny raincoats with rubber boots that came with Seasons, and completely transformed it into something else. It's now a warm wool coat over a simple plaid dress, and comes with warm tights and cute leather boots. I think it sort of has a retro feel to it, but still contemporary enough for your modern Sims too.

I made 4 recolors - wine, forest, navy, and plum. The dress is a different color depending on the coat, but the coat trim, the tights and the boots are black in all 4 versions (the tights color will vary in look, depending on the skintone of the Sim). The mesh I used does have a fat morph (as seen with 03_Navy).

I'm quite satisfied with my creation, and my little Sims are happy to wear it too, based on the pictures they allowed me to take of them. I hope you will appreciate this much-needed addition to the little girl's wardrobes as much as I - and they - do!
