This is the first time I upload my creations to www.modthesims2.com. I have an account at the official sims2 website, but for some reason I cannot upload my creations there: every time I upload them, it always fails and when I took a look at the site, the size of my creations would always be increased to only 0.02MB. So I gave up and tried uploading my creations to www.thesims2resource.com, and they are now ready for download. Then I heard from one of the most famous featured artists of www.thesims2resource.com that uploading creations here at www.modthesims2.com is totally free and they would be published instantly. So I decided to try uploading them to this site and hope that ones who are interested in my creations would download and give me some comment about them.

Please not that I have never downloaded and use in my creations anything that is non-official maxis objects. They might be, as a result, look a bit simple, but they are also safe for your game playing.

This is the first, and my most favorite, of my residential lot creations: Vimanmek Mansion. This place really exists: it is the largest golden teakwood mansion which was once a residence of H.M. King Rama V, who is highly respected by Thai people even now. There is, however, no one living there now: it is modified to be a museum. If you would like to see what the real one looks like (and of course it is far more beautiful than that of my creation), you can come to Thailand and take a visit there.

Since the room plan of the real mansion is very complex, I have tried to make it as most suitable for the game as I could. Also, some parts in this creations, such as the plants in the garden, the swimming pool (the real one is a small canal), and building tools I used are modified, but I have tried to make it looks like the real one as much as I could. It is unfurnished and the price is 190,102 simoleons.

The first floor—is the base of the mansion. In the garden, I just plant what I thought is most appropriate, but you can change them if you want. And as mentioned above, the canal in the real mansion is modified to be a swimming pool so that your sims can swim in it.

The second floor—contains three entrances. Actually the inner door is the main entrance, but I have put three more doors on the octagon to make it easier and quicker to enter the mansion. In addition, the octagon is connected to a wooden pavilion close to the swimming pool. Your sims can take a rest there after swimming. Inside there are four rooms in the L-shaped part, each with a small bathroom that can be entered either from outside or inside the room, and one room in the octagon. Those four rooms were built to be bedrooms, but you can make it anything you want. And the room in the octagon might be applied to be a kitchen and dining room, or you might just dine in the pavilion.

The third floor—is the same as the second floor, except that there is one more room above the inner entrance, which might be modified to be a study room. And you might make the room in the octagon a living room.

There is only one room which was divided into three small rooms on the fourth floor, and it is in the octagon. In the real mansion, this part was the private room of H.M. King Rama V, which contains a bedroom, a bathroom and a private study room. You might use those rooms like that.

You can access the upper floors either from the stairs in the L-shaped part or in the octagon. I did not, however, make an access to the back from the mansion’s body since I think your sims can take a walk there from either the pathway connected to the inner entrance or from the one connected to the pavilion.

Before I end the description, I would like to note that I created this lot with highly respect to H.M. King Rama V and the Royal Family of Thailand.

P.S. I don't know how to post pictures here. Anyone help instruct me please?
