ATTENTION: This lot is a LIBRARY FILE, not a sims3pack. DO NOT install it through the launcher. It DOES NOT go in your mods folder. Navigate to Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3> library. Place it in your LIBRARY folder.

This lot is an all-in-one shop for pets. It includes a pet shop, a kennel area for boarding, a yard for skill training, and a groomers. It is great for atmosphere in towns, for pictures and for stories, but unfortunately it does not function. I thought sims could bathe their pets at the groomers, but in their infinite wisdom, EA does not allow giving pets a bath on a community lot. The pet shop can function as such with the addition of either the store shop items, or the pet register, which was available with the Limited Edition of the Pets EP. I think icarus allsorts mod, The Transmogrifier, can be used to transfer the script from the pets register, which was patched in with the update for Pets, to another item. This has not been attempted, but if anyone gets it to work, please report back in the comments. If you are looking for a new register, I recommend browsing at Around the Sims.

The pet shop includes a bunch of minor pet critters that were added with NRaas Debug Enabler. They are found in each of the cages/ tanks, plus a whole mess of them in the rodent enclosure at the front of the shop. The mod is not needed for the pets to appear.

There is a loft space above the pet shop that is accessed from a spiral staircase. There is nothing up there, nor is there a door leading to the stairs. If you want to use this loft, please place a door (you can clone the restroom door) opposite from the left most bird cage and the bottom of the spiral stairs. Sims will them be able to use the stairs to get to the loft. You can make this an office, or an aquarium space, or whatever you choose. To keep out customers, you may want to lock the door.
