Okay, this one is super simple. That base game piano is a dumb colour. It matches nothing. A while back I made a set of recolours in my "Custom Wood Collection" shades, but in the middle of a project I needed a piano that looked better with all that base game medium wood. So I made a piano that looked better with all that base game medium wood.

Getting into the in-game textures, so many of those medium wood things don't even really match each other all that well, so I didn't stress getting the wood perfectly, exactly matched to any specific piece -- its job is just to look like it actually belongs in the same room with that stuff, which I think it manages to do now.
