Happy New Year!

I have been playing a lot in my favorite Sims 3 town, Hidden Springs, lately and have been trying to recreate the "Royal" Vanderburg Family's house for The Sims 4 for some time. The thing is that sometimes things that look okay in The Sims 3 don't necessarily translate well into The Sims 4 - this is a major issue for the Vanderburg Family's house. It's already quite unique looking in The Sims 3, but with the mechanics and general look of The Sims 4 it just looks awful, even if everything is placed perfectly.

So.....instead of just uploading my recreation of the Vanderburg Family's house that I don't really like here, I decided to upload a house that is very similar to it in spirit, but with a few tweaks to make it fit into The Sims 4 a bit better! I hope you like it!

Like I said, I have been playing Hidden Springs lately as it's my favorite Sims world. I don't usually play the Vanderburg Family myself, but they're usually connected to my main sims in some way. This Sims 4-inspired version is basically how I have their house edited in The Sims 3 right now. Every time I go into Hidden Springs for the first time, the first thing I do is edit how The Vanderburg Family's house looks, and this is currently what it looks like in my Sims 3 game right now (for the most part). I added some rooms, added windows, changed furniture, and moved some rooms around, but the general shape of the house always stays the same. The end result is a large house that has four bedrooms and seven full bathrooms! It currently sleeps eight sims, but there are more than enough rooms on the lower level to turn into even more bedrooms if you like.

I did make changes to the yard, however. The original house in Sims 3 sits on a 60x60 (maybe 64x64?) this house sits on a 50x50 (meant for the largest lot in The Sims 4). The yard is recognizable if you know the original house, however, and the pool is the right shape. I hope none of you mind the difference! The yard has the pool, a gazebo, and a small greenhouse in the front! Lots of space!

NO CC! House is play-tested! GET TOGETHER ONLY! Interior is MOSTLY Base- Game! Please turn MoveObjects. On before you place the home, just in case.
