Introduction

This mod aims at making pregnancy quiet and remove its annoyances in order to make it more casual.


Features
  • No pregnancy chime. No bell announces a successful impregnation. You will not know that your Sim is pregnant until she starts showing, or the poor lady rushes to the toilet to empty her stomach. This introduces a short period of suspense, or even possibly a surprise, in particular if any risky woohoo mod is used.[/li]
  • Baby Bump Stages. Your Sim will not stop her activities to look at the sudden growth of her belly. She will also not try and grab your attention for that event and the camera will not zoom in on her. Most importantly, she will not wake up in the middle of the night just because she is showing. In fact, she will not interrupt any task at all.
Please note that your Sim will, however, still grab your attention when going into labour, as this is an important event.


Compatibility
After comparing the BHAV with different versions, I believe Pets or higher is required. The BHAVs don?t seem to have changed after that EP.

Should be compatible with most of these types of mods:
  • Change the duration of pregnancy
  • Change in odds of pregnancy
  • Risky woohoo
Not tested with InTeen or any teen pregnancy mods. I will update when I have a chance to test, or when someone tries it and reports.

This mode changes bits of code relating to the pregnancy controller, and as such has a chance of conflicting with any other mod affecting this object. During my research, I was surprised not many mods actually affect that object, however I will be happy to have a look if you are unsure if a mod you are interested in is compatible or not.
