Modern Hot Tub - Base Game

Yes, it is BASE GAME COMPATIBLE and fully functional.

7/24 UPDATE: For the first ~700 downloaders, there was an issue with the original hot tub where if you upgrade it (add stereo or aromatherapy) the roof would return. The problem was a rookie mistake on my part, I did not edit the mesh containing the upgraded components. This issue is now fixed. Please redownload if you have this problem. Also, moderation pointed out the original shadow mesh caused a shadow to appear on the corners (pictured), this has also been fixed. Any additional problems please contact me.

Hello everyone,

As many of you are aware, for the most recent Sims anniversary (February) there was a free hot tub available. Hot tubs are something I have been missing since I only have the base game for Sims 4. However..the anniversary hot tub was not something I found aesthetically pleasing. So..I decided to change it myself with no experience in 3D modeling. Needless to say it took awhile... but here it is!

Description

This is a mesh edit of the base game "Birthday Hot Tub" provided during The Sims 20th Anniversary.

Item name (in-game): [HKittay] Hot Tub
The price and stats remain unchanged from the original mesh.
Price: 3,000 Simoleons
Hygiene: 3
Fun: 3

It may be found in Buy Mode->Plumbing->Tubs or by searching "Hot Tub" or "[HKittay]" in the search bar in Buy Mode.

It comes with 14 swatches (pictured above). They are alpha swatches and not Maxis match.

The swatches were edited by me of course, but the textures were found on Google and I do not claim any ownership of. If anyone owns a texture that is used and has a problem with me using it for recreational use, please PM me and I will remove the texture. I am recieving no monetary gain from its use and this creation is solely for entertainment purpose only.

Blender, GIMP, and Sims4Studio used.
