Stephen White put his heart and soul into saving what little remained of Holland Island, MD, including the only house that hadn't been demolished, destroyed or fallen into the bay. Sadly, the house began to collapse in 2010. It sunk completely in October of that year. Due to rising sea levels, many small islands that dot the Chesapeake Bay have succumbed to the same fate.

My recreation of the last house is simply a shell and probably does not have the same layout as the actual house. As with my recreation of the Mispillion Lighthouse, I never got to explore it (I almost did once, but got sick before I could even board the boat,) and while I found photos taken of the inside about 15 years ago, the website I found them on seems to have vanished.

If anyone wants to use this shell to make a renovation, you have my full permission to share it with credit.
