Not So Dull Grass

This is a pack of:

• 2 default replacement mods that change the lush terrain in the lot view (which looks dull) to match the lush terrain in the neighborhood view (which looks lush as it should),
• 2 terrain paints based on them.

The new textures are based on the original ones – so the new grass still looks quite neglected, but certainly not so dull.



DR lot lush terrain & roads mod
This is a default replacement for lush terrain and roads* in the lot view.
There are 2 versions of this mod:

• not so dull: makes the lot grass color match the real neighborhood grass color (revealed by the Accurate Neighborhood Terrain Lighting mod).
  I recommend using this version if you also use the above lighting mod.
• not so dull dark: makes the lot grass color match the neighborhood grass color with the original warm lighting.
  I recommend using this version in the following cases:
  
  • you don't use the above mentioned lighting mod,
    
  • you use the above mentioned lighting mod, but you are used to the original look of the neighborhood grass (see the DR nhood lush terrain & roads mod).

* It doesn't change roads or pavements themselves but the adjacent terrain which is a part of their textures.

DR nhood lush terrain & roads mod
This is a default replacement for lush terrain and roads* in the neighborhood view.

There's one version this mod – not so dull dark. It's for the players who use the Accurate Neighborhood Terrain Lighting mod, but are used to the original look of the neighborhood grass (see the DR lot lush terrain & roads mod).

* It doesn't change roads or pavements themselves but the adjacent terrain which is a part of their textures.



Not so dull grass terrain paints
These are 2 standalone terrain paints – not so dull grass and not so dull grass dark – available in the build mode.
They look the same as the default replacement textures of the lot view grass.
