Custom Memories

I'm not sure on how many people play the sims 2 like I do, but I like creating stories about my sims using memories. I have made quite a few memories that I think need to be there in the game and I thought I'd upload some of them.

These are the memories -

Built a snowman - This memory is generated when your sim completes building a snowman and is repeatable, meaning that if your sim builds several snowmen, they will get a memory each time. I made it repeatable because I thought it's likely your sim will only make one snowman per winter so it's unlikely that you'll end up with loads of 'built a snowman' memories in a row.

Harvested crops - This memory is generated when your sim harvests crops and is repeatable. This memory will not appear when harvesting custom crops.

First day of school - This memory is generated when your young sim first gets on the school bus for their first day of school and is not repeatable.

Obtained Womrat - This is generated when a sim stocks the womrat cage and is repeatable, since your womrat may die and you might get another one. As with real life, I remember all of the pet rats I have had, so I think a sim would remember all of the womrats they've bought.

Obtained bird - Similar to the womrat memory but this is generated when you stock the bird cage and is repeatable.

Sang karaoke - This memory is generated when your sim finishes singing a solo song on the karaoke and is not repeatable.

Played basketball - When your sim plays basketball, the memory is generated, it is not repeatable because it'd be really annoying if you had a basketball hoop in your garden and the sim keeps shooting hoops and getting repeated memories in a row. I created the memory though because I thought that if you had a sporty sim, they'd likely remember playing basketball for the first time.


I have separated the memories so that you can download the ones you want. It was also necessary to do that since you might not have all of the expansion packs needed. There would be no point in downloading the 'obtained new bird' memory if you don't have the pets expansion pack. For anyone who wants all the memories, there is an 'all memories' file which has all of them.

Important!

Some of these memories will conflict with other mods. The conflicts are as follows:

Cyjon - noworkhats conflicts with the first school day.

Pescado - fishandharvestfix conflicts with harvestplants.

Midgethetree - guineapigdisease conflicts with newwomrat.

There may be other conflicts depending on what mods you have, so if you notice anything, let me know in the comments.

I may upload more memories in the future as I enjoy making them for my game. I'd like to thank Dilight as her tutorial is what started me on doing this type of thing and I use her tattered diary all the time in my game. I'd also like to thank Omglo.
